I’ve been tagged by Danni and AlexaD to do this, I will not tag anyone.  If you want to do this after reading my blog then by all means please do.

Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you.

1. I generally enjoyed my school years, even when I had teachers I hated. I still enjoy learning new things.
2. I have dark curly hair that gets everywhere. I’ve been told I get that from my Dad
3. I am 5′6″ and have hazel eyes. I am considered tall in my family.
4. I come from a typically large Irish family, I have 34 cousins, on my Mother’s side, yet only 4 cousins on my Dad’s.
5. My first computer was a Hewlett Packard  and used cassette tapes to load the programs, you could make a 3 course dinner in the time it took to load a program

6. My first dog was a border collie called Shane, I got him from an animal shelter. He was very timid and shy until he saw someone in uniform then he became a growling, snapping monster.  I eventually had to have him put down.
   
7. During ‘The Troubles’ I have experienced being too close to bombs going off on two occasions. And once heard the gun shot that killed a man because of his religion.
8. I am in the process of changing my name back to my maiden name. It’s taking a lot more time than I thought it would.
9. I have now been unemployed for 3 months.
10. I once owned a Lada, it was like driving a Sherman tank. I never locked it and often left the key in the ignition while shopping in town. Odly enough it was never stolen

11. My cooking skills have improved although I still have problems cooking rice using the absorption method, and it still sticks to the bottom of the pot.
12. I don’t have one favourite food, I do prefer savoury to sweet.
13. I was born in New York City, and am still an American citizen but am thinking that after 30 + years living in the UK, of becoming an British citizen.

14. I passed my driving test first time.
15. I have a number of scars from falls, cuts and operations.
16. The last time I was in hospital was to have my gallbladder removed.
17. I have a tiny teddy bear who’s name is Tedward. He is not a child’s toy but a collectors item.

19. I like the cutlery drawer to be orderly, I and fold towels a particular way.
20. I am a member of so many social media sites, that I forget the half of them.
21. My hand to eye co-ordination is poor, causing numerous smashed glasses (apologies to WillowC)

22. I started my career (aged 18)as a secretary, and ended up a mechanical process technician.
23. My first car was a 15 year old Peugeot 504 that I bought for £150 drove it for 2 years and scraped it for £150. I named her “You Bastard” on the account it she was difficult to start.

24. I have always wanted to do a parachute jump, and am thinking of maybe doing one next year.
25. I was to go to the Glastonbury festival this year with my eldest, we are going next year instead. Who wants to join us??
