Parking is Scarce

New job started on April 6th, at the training site with 12 other new starts. We move to the new offices on Monday 20th which is fantastic as this cuts 20 mins off my travel time, and as I have to travel quite a distance to the office I was allocated one of the building’s limited parking spaces. Oh Happy Me!!

My new work colleges are a lovely bunch, already we are organising our first night out.  Now that’s what I like, people who have their priorities right. On the down side, once we finish training we are to be split up into different teams and shift patterns.  

The training has been very intensive, and involves learning the banking regulations, the data protection act and codes of practice etc, together with getting to grips with the new software programs that we will need to use.  I’ve never been one to shy away from learning so I am quite enjoying the experience even if it did earn me a few headaches in the first week.  Which just shows how lazy my wee brain had become. 

My new toy

My lazy week off wasn’t completely wasted. I acquired a new ‘toy’.  A spanking new Flymo Easimo arrived on my door step, which required assembling before I could use it to cut the slightly overgrown lawn.

I am delighted pleased to announce both dogs survived the lawn mower.

The grass may not quite resemble a cricket ground but I think I did a dammed fine job!
